The Tassi farm, established in the late 1960s by the Tassi and Franci families even before Brunello, became famous for the production of another product synonymous with Montalcino, honey. At the end of the century, driven by his insatiable entrepreneurial spirit and his profound passion for wine, Fabio, together with his father Giuseppe, decided to enter the world of wine and plant the first vineyard of the Tassi farm in Castelnuovo dell’Abate. 2004 marked the start of a new adventure with the production of the first Tassi Brunello. The farm, which acquired full organic certification in 2016, today boasts 6 hectares of vineyards located in 4 different regions of Montalcino. In 2017, the original facility used first for honey production and then for wine underwent a major renovation, transforming into a functional wine cellar that is somewhat symbolic for the family, welcoming tourists and wine enthusiasts alike for visits and wine tasting events.
